Peer Support
Sometimes, talking to someone who has gone through similar struggles can be the most effective way to feel heard and understood. Our peer support program allows participants to connect with others who have lived experiences with behavioral health challenges. Our peer support specialists offer a listening ear, guidance, and hope for recovery. Peer support workers engage in a wide range of activities. These include:
- Advocating for people in recovery
- Sharing resources and building skills
- Building community and relationships
- Leading recovery groups
- Mentoring and setting goals
Counseling
Behavioral health counseling is a form of mental health therapy that focuses on promoting positive change and improving individuals’ overall well-being. Various counseling techniques are used to help individuals manage and overcome a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and addiction.
Counseling can help individuals learn coping mechanisms to manage everyday stressors and improve their ability to handle difficult situations. Additionally, behavioral health counseling can improve communication skills and relationships with others. Metta Vibes trained professionals help members explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a compassionate, safe, and supportive environment to work through their mental concerns and make positive changes in their lives.
Case Management
Our case management services assist individuals in accessing resources they need in order to achieve their goals. We work closely with clients to identify their needs and provide assistance in accessing necessary services such as housing, medical care, food and clothing, etc.
Psychoeducation
We offer different group therapy sessions to teach clients and their families about behavioral health concerns and provide coping skills. These sessions offer an opportunity for clients to connect with others and learn from each other’s experiences.
Skills Training
Learning new skills and coping strategies can greatly improve overall well-being. Our skills training program offers evidence-based interventions to help participants acquire new skills to manage emotions, communicate effectively, and cope with stress. These skills can help in all aspects of life, including work, education, relationships, and personal growth.
