The Metta Cove

Intensive Outpatient Program for Children & Teens (Ages 8-17)

A safe harbor for young hearts healing from traumatic event, loss, and family trauma.

Welcome To Metta Cove!

Metta Cove is a specialized mental health program offered by Metta Vibes, dedicated to supporting children and youth (ages 6–15) who have witnessed domestic violence or experienced a traumatic event. Rooted in our core principle of Metta (loving-kindness), we provide a safe, nurturing, and sheltered space—a true Cove—where healing can begin through a combination of individual and group therapy.

Witnessing violence or experiencing trauma can make a child’s world feel chaotic and unsafe. The goal of Metta Cove is to help children move from chaos to calmness by building inner stability and emotional strength. We guide participants in developing the powerful coping skills and resilience they need to thrive.

We provide therapeutic services led by trauma-informed specialists. Our holistic approach focuses on:

  • • Safety and Stabilization
  • • Emotional Literacy
  • • Resilience Skills

At Metta Cove, we believe every child deserves a safe harbor. We are here to support your child as they navigate their emotions and rediscover their own inherent strength.

Our Approach

We understand that children who've experienced a traumatic event or witnessed harm to loved ones need more than traditional once-a-week therapy. Trauma impacts kids daily—so healing support should be daily too.

We believe:

  • Kids are never to blame for what happened to them
  • Healing happens in relationship with safe, trustworthy adults and peers
  • Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and valued
  • Trauma symptoms are normal responses to abnormal experiences
  • Children are resilient when given the right support
